What is this skill?
Staying on top of market sentiment, news, and expert opinions on Twitter/X is crucial for investors, analysts, and anyone researching financial trends. With this skill, your AI can read your home timeline, search tweets by keyword, check what's trending, and pull up tweets from any user or your bookmarks. This makes it easy to monitor fintwit, track breaking news, and gather opinions on stocks or market events without manually scrolling through your feed.
What you can do
- Read your Twitter/X timeline (For You or Following) for the latest posts relevant to your interests.
- Search for tweets about a stock, topic, or event ("Search Twitter for Nvidia earnings").
- View trending topics to spot emerging market themes.
- Look up your bookmarks to revisit saved tweets or threads.
- Fetch recent tweets, threads, and articles from any user ("Show me @elonmusk's last 10 tweets").
- Check your Twitter notifications for mentions and replies.
How it works
When you request information from Twitter/X, your AI uses the opencli tool, which accesses your account through your Chrome browser session (via the Browser Bridge extension). You simply need to be logged into x.com in Chrome. The AI runs the relevant opencli commands to fetch your feed, search tweets, or look up users, then parses and summarizes the results for you—delivering the data as structured text or summaries.
Good to know
- Requires Node.js, Chrome, and the Browser Bridge extension installed.
- You must be logged into x.com in Chrome for the AI to access your account.
- Works only on platforms that allow CLI tools and browser integration (not Claude.ai web sandbox).
- Read-only: does not support posting, liking, retweeting, or following.
