PromptsEdge (“PromptsEdge”, “we”, “us”) operates the PromptsEdge website and mobile apps (collectively, the “Service”), where people discover, share and remix prompts for image, video and text generation. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information — when you sign up or sign in with Google, Apple, or email and password, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo (if provided by that sign-in method).
• Content you provide — prompts, titles, descriptions, tags, comments, likes, follows, and any images or videos you upload, plus an optional profile picture you choose from your photo library.
• Usage data — pages and prompts viewed, searches, and interactions with the Service, used to personalize your feed and improve the product.
• Credits and activity — your in-app credit balance and the actions that earn or spend credits.
• Device and log data — IP address, device/browser type, and diagnostic logs, collected automatically to keep the Service secure and reliable.

How we use this information

• Operate, maintain, and personalize the Service, including your feed and recommendations.
• Let you create, publish, and interact with prompts, comments, and other creators.
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Understand how the Service is used so we can fix bugs and improve features.

Sign-in and analytics providers

We use Firebase Authentication (Google, Apple, and email/password sign-in) to manage accounts; if you sign in with Google or Apple, those providers handle authentication under their own privacy policies. On the web, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate usage patterns (such as clicks and scrolling) so we can improve the site's design and performance.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who host our infrastructure or process data on our behalf (e.g. Firebase/Google Cloud, Microsoft Clarity), under obligations to protect it.
• Other users, to the extent you choose to make content public — your username, profile photo, and published prompts are visible to anyone using the Service.
• Authorities, where required to comply with the law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of PromptsEdge or others.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below; we'll process the request within a reasonable timeframe, except where we're required to retain certain records by law.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can update your profile information from within the app, and you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time using the contact details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
