What is this skill?

Staying informed about market sentiment and professional news on LinkedIn can be time-consuming, especially for financial research or job hunting. With this skill, your AI reads your LinkedIn feed, summarizes posts from analysts and professionals, and searches for finance and trading jobs using advanced filters like location, seniority, job type, and company. It’s perfect for researchers, job seekers, and anyone tracking industry buzz or hiring trends—without the risk of accidental posting or messaging.

What you can do

  • Read your LinkedIn feed: "Check my LinkedIn feed for market commentary" summarizes recent posts, reactions, and comments.
  • Monitor analyst and professional sentiment: "What are professionals saying about NVDA earnings on LinkedIn?"
  • Search for finance jobs: "Search LinkedIn for quant jobs in London, posted this week."
  • Filter jobs by company, location, or remote status: "Show remote trading jobs at Citadel."
  • Track hiring trends and buzz: "Who’s hiring in fintech this month?"

How it works

When you request LinkedIn research, your AI uses opencli to access your Chrome browser session (with Browser Bridge) and reads your feed or performs job searches with your chosen filters. It extracts post content, authors, and engagement stats, or lists job postings with all relevant details. All actions are read-only—no posting, messaging, or connecting is possible.

Good to know

  • Requires Node.js 20+, Chrome with the Browser Bridge extension, and an active LinkedIn login in Chrome.
  • Works only on CLI-based agents (Claude Code, etc.), not on Claude.ai web.
  • No API keys or bot setup needed; opencli reuses your browser session.
  • Reference files include command guides and research workflows.
